How to mount a secondary/additional harddrive

For centos/fedora
run "fdisk -l" to see what drives are recognized by the server.
find the new disk name. Usually its /dev/sdb

Partition the drive
run "fdisk /dev/sdb"
select add a new partition "n"
select partition number "1"
select write table to disk and exit "w"
Format the drive
run "mkfs.ext3 /dev/sdb1"
Mount the drive
Now decide where you want to mount the drive.
for example mount to /mnt: run "mount /dev/sdb1 /mnt"

To add this to autostart there are 2 options:
1. add command to /etc/rc.local
"mount /dev/sdb1 /mnt"
2. add line in /etc/fstab.conf
"/dev/sdb1 /mnt ext3 defaults 1 2"
